July can be characterised as a warm and dry month. Although the beginning of the month was relatively cool, the average monthly temperature was 0.7 °C above the long-term average and 0.9 °C higher than last year. This was mainly due to the exceptionally warm weather during the final week of July, when the maximum daily temperature reached 37.2 °C on 30 July.
Bohemia Hop, a.s. participated in Brasil Brau 2026, the largest brewing exhibition in Latin America, held in São Paulo, Brazil, from June 9–11, 2026. The company exhibited at the Czech national stand, organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Brazil and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic, alongside Top Hop and Arix.

On Tuesday, 16 June 2026, our company welcomed participants of an incoming mission from the USA and Canada. The group included representatives of craft breweries, distributors, and specialist brewing media. During the visit, the participants took part in an evaluation of the aromatic profiles of Czech hop varieties. In addition to the traditional Saaz variety, they also had the opportunity to explore Agnus, Premiant, Sládek, Kazbek, and Saaz Shine. The mission participants gave very positive feedback on the aromatic properties of all the presented varieties and appreciated their quality and diversity.
May was warmer than average, mainly due to the high number of summer days. The second decade of the month was characterized by cooler weather, with minimum ground-level temperatures dropping below freezing. Towards the end of the month, temperatures rose significantly again, and tropical days were recorded. On May 24, the maximum temperature reached 30.4 °C, and on May 26, the daily maximum reached 30.6 °C.
January was characterized by below-average temperatures and a persistent snow cover that lasted into February, giving the winter a typical character. The average temperature for the first quarter reached 1.3 °C, which is 0.3 °C below the long-term average. The coldest month was January, with a deviation of −2.6 °C from the norm. In contrast, February was warmer, with a deviation of +1.2 °C compared to the long-term average and +4 °C compared to the previous year.
