June can be considered above average in terms of temperature. Compared to the long-term average, it was +1.5 °C warmer. The higher average temperature was mainly influenced by the third decade of the month, when maximum temperatures from June 22 until the end of the month remained in the range of 28–32 °C, and nighttime temperatures did not fall below 12 °C. In terms of precipitation, June saw a slight deficit (-8.4 mm) compared to the long-term average. 95 % of precipitation fell in the first half of the month, and from June 16, we recorded only 3.1 mm. Compared to last year, the Saaz region has seen 60 mm less precipitation since the beginning of the year.
