The month of June, which was influenced by tropical temperatures at the end of the month, was slightly above the long-term normal temperature by +1.0°C. In terms of precipitation, the month was in a slight deficit (-9.4 mm) compared to the long-term average, however, as far as the total amount of precipitation since the beginning of the year is concerned, Žatec (Saaz) region is almost 18% above the long-term average. In the Úštěk (Auscha) region there were recorded local strong storms with hails that caused the damage of 80% on 30 ha of the hop gardens in Radovesice.
