On March 20–21, 2026, the General Assembly of the Czech-Moravian Association of Microbreweries took place in Zvíkov alongside the prestigious tasting competition „Spring Prize of Czech Brewers“. Bohemia Hop, a long-standing supporter and contributing member of the association, once again actively participated in this important event and supported its organization.

The company was represented at the General Assembly by Markéta Podsedníková, who also took part in the professional program and discussions.

This year’s competition saw 140 breweries enter a total of 710 beer samples across 17 categories. The most closely watched category—Czech pale lager—was won by Pivovar GARP with its beer Garp 110 – Pale Lager.

The 2026 edition confirmed not only the high quality of traditional beer styles but also the growing importance of new trends, particularly in the non-alcoholic beer segment. In recent years, non-alcoholic beers have undergone significant development and are increasingly able to stand in direct comparison with their traditional counterparts.

Bohemia Hop greatly appreciates the opportunity to be part of this event and to continue supporting the development of Czech brewing. We thank the organizers and all participants for the excellent atmosphere and look forward to the next edition.
