August 20th, 2018 CISTA publised final figures of a hop acreage in the Czech Republic. In comparison to the figures published in April 2018, the figures show only tiny changes by 6 ha in the final acreage.

Bohemia Hop together with Pilsner Urquell from ASAHI group organized several traditional harvest events. Representatives of the brewery and ASAHI group had carried out an inspection of a state of hop plants and pre-harvest quality of hop cones. Afterwards, they visited a headquater of Bohemia Hop and Chmelarstvi, cooperative Zatec. They wieved a processing plant and cooled storages of the Cooperative. Apart from their official program, they found a gap in a schedule to visit the Hop Museum in Zatec (SAAZ), the largest worldwide.
Ambassadors and the Tapsters of Pilsner Urquell from all over the world visited Dittrich´s farm in Lenesice, Saaz region. Bohemia Hop traditionally joined and participated in this event. Participants were introduced with the process of cultivating and harvesting hops. Afterward, the traditional competation in a hand picking of Saaz hops took place. Everybody enjoyed this awesome days. We believe this event is going to take place even next year.
Our company offers green fresh hops from Czech growers this year again. Brewers from Czechia and other Eropean countries use an opportunity to gain the fresh hops. Bohemia Hop a.s. offers an experience to pick the fresh hops by own hands, visit the hop farm and the most important thing – take the FRESH HOPS for their beers.

The first farmer´s bales have been stored in a cold storehouse of Chmelarství, cooperative Zatec. Krupicka Farm from Saaz Region, delivered the first hops from ongoing harvest from hop gardens located in Kozejedy.
Chmelarstvi, cooperative Zatec, has a capacity of its cold storage to store the hops of entire 2018 crop.
