The Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture (CISTA) announced the final 2017 crop results. The total hop harvest in the Czech Republic reached 6 797 t of hops.
This official figure includes Saaz, Auscha and Tirschitz regions. Thus, the average national yield was 1,37 t/ha (including all varieties grown in the Czech Republic).
Bohemia Hop participated in DrinkTec 2017 as a traditional exhibitor. We were very pleased to meet all customers at our "refresh station". We really enjoyed the time spending with our regular customers and talks with people visiting our stand for the first time. All visitors had an oppurtunity to taste beers being on a tap. The beers performed original Czech varieties in different beer styles. All beers were brewed in the experimental brewery of the Hop Research Institute in Zatec.
Our team would like to thank all visitors and people related with the exhibition.
Our company offers green fresh hops from Czech growers this year again. Brewers from Czechia and other Eropean countries use an opportunity to gain the fresh hops. Bohemia Hop a.s. offers an experience to pick the fresh hops by own hands, visit the hop farm and the most important thing – take the FRESH HOPS for their beers.
All visitors enjoyed the time with us and we are looking forward to meeting all of them the next year again.
Representatives of Bohemia Hop together with Pavel Zítek, brewmaster of Gambrinus, provided a pre-harvest inspection of Sladek variety at Agrofarma Karel Dittrich in Lenešice.
