The Embassy of the Czech Republic in collaboration with Bohemia Hop organized a special evening with Beer & Hop Experts, featured Josef Patzak, managing director of the Hop Research Insitute; Zdenek Rosa, chairman of Chmelarstvi and Bohemia Hop and Jonathan Reeves, head brewer of Port City Brewery. Over 100 beer lovers gathered at the Embassy to enjoy beers made from Czech hops, paired with delicious Czech cuisine prepared by Embassy Chef Zdenek Pecka.

Experts related to both craft breweries and  brewing concerns appreciated an opportunity to acquier knowledge of Czech hops, to hear an experience about brewing Bohemian-style lagers from a local brewery using Czech hops and to sniff original Czech hop varieties.

Hereby, Bohemia Hop would like to thank Mr. Tomas Hart and his team from the Czech Embassy in Washington D.C. for organizing the event and warm hospitality.
